Allyson To Mexico

After a conversation, a prayer, and a desire to walk with my Latina brothers and sisters in Mexico, I have been offered an opportunity to do life with the people of the San Luis community through DriButts and Caring Hearts Mexico. I have always been hesitant to go on a mission trip, for fear of falling prey to the temptation of seeing myself as a savior to a people who are not broken. What the trip will consist of are DriButts diaper drops, assisting the people in learning life skills, and partnering with the local churches. To fund the trip, I am raising $850 dollars by asking donations by family, friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ. I am beyond blessed to receive this opportunity to not only be a vessel through which God's work can be done in the community of San Luis, Mexico, but to be a student of their culture, their experience, and their way of life.
