The mission of ReThread Thrift is simple. One act of kindness has the power to thread love into someone’s life. Every time that act of kindness is repeated, you ReThread love into others. We have opened this store to ReThread God’s love into our community and world. Every time someone donates, shops, or volunteers at our store, they are participating in the act of ReThreading love. Our Simple Promise: 10% of all net revenue will go to support local ministries in the west Georgia area and 90% will support the mission and vision of DriButts Inc.
What Makes Us Unique?
ReThread is made up of three different aspects that make us unique as a second-hand store—our Do Good Marketplace, vintage, and thrift. These sections offer a fascinating twist on shoppers’ experience by their history and purpose. Everything bought in store brings the shopper into an inclusive position to partner with us by doing good through every purchase and donation.
Do Good Marketplace
Our Do Good Marketplace offers a variety of products from other non-profit organizations around the world. Organizations like Phoenix Roasters, Prosperity Candle, and 2nd Hand Goods (to name a FEW!) each define their purpose by targeting a specific need in their communities. Items range from accessories to baby items, from cards to coffee, from jewelry to journals, and so much more. By purchasing these items, you can help support these individual ministries and the people they do good for!
Vintage
The Vintage section of our store brings a piece of history to the local community. Delicate antiques and collectible items give customers the chance to reminisce the days of old or to gaze in awe at trinkets from a century past! Items vary greatly, but to give an idea of things we have carried are trench art pieces, phonographs, and a Japanese pachinko slot machine. These items are a favorite of ours to show customers just to see a bright-eyed smile come to their face.
Thrift
Our major feature of thrift items establishes our store’s namesake. We offer weekly sales for customers to find deals within our accessories, clothing, and home decor. Once a month we offer our $1 clothing sale—a crowd favorite. All items are by donation only and proceeds go to help fund our non-profit, DriButts. This section brings mission work to the customer particularly so that no matter a customer’s budget, they too can do good within the world.
