Diarrhea kills 2,195 children every day — more than AIDS, malaria, and measles combined. When diapers are not readily available children go to the bathroom in the house, around food and water sources, and on caretakers. This is how disease begins to spread and Dributts mission is to prevent these deadly diseases from spreading.
About 88% of diarrhea-associated deaths are attributable to unsafe water, inadequate sanitation, and insufficient hygiene.
About 2.4 billion people — or roughly one-third of the world’s population — still lack access to a proper toilet.
Access to safe water and improved hygiene and sanitation has the potential to prevent at least 9.1% of the global disease burden and 6.3% of all deaths.
